Development has been intruding into and fragmenting natural areas, especially our forests. Efforts to preserve forested areas in Chatham need to be taken now to save our natural heritage before it is lost forever.

We are residents of Chatham who have come together with a common goal to Save Goose Pond Forest in its natural state for future generations.

We are concerned about the loss of forested land in our town because forests are extremely valuable for watershed protection, habitat of wildlife and native plants, storing carbon, passive recreation, and more.
